Scuba Diving on the Great Astrolabe Reef
Tiliva Resort is minutes away from the Great  Astrolabe Reef the world's third largest reef system.  Diving on Kadavu is suitable for all from the advanced to the novice.

Snorkelling
Enjoy snorkelling on the house reef from the beach.  A large area of the house reef is untouched so there are many fish with a lot of colourful coral. Alternatively, you can snorkel on the Great Astrolabe Reef to see all the corals, and an abundance of small fish. Take a picnic and make a day of it!

Kayaking
Take one of the kayaks to explore the coastline around Kadavu. Kayak to Kavala Bay or up the coastline, stop along the way on one of the deserted beaches – look out for the best places to snorkel and enjoy the crystal clear waters.

Trekking
Take a guided trip to the waterfall past the village and local school, through the rainforest and arrive at the waterfall, look out for the parrot and the Kadavu Honeyeater and with help from a local you may well be able to spot the iguana which is very rare on Kadavu. Jump into the pool for a refreshing swim. Take the boat back to the resort.

Village & School Visit
A visit to the village or school must be requested in advance. Guests will be brought into the village by a staff member who will show you around, or why not attend the church service on Sunday to listen to the wonderful choir.

Boat Trips & Picnics
Take a picnic on one of the deserted  beaches. The boatman will drop you and pick you up at an agreed time. Relax, recharge,  read a book, collect shells and enjoy the cooling sea breeze.

Bird Watching
Have your own bird watching guide to help you see some of the endemic birds, for example the Kadavu Shining Parrot, The Kadavu Fantail and the Whistling Dove, all of which are found only on Kadavu. Read more information about Bird Watching in Kadavu here.

Medicinal Tour of Indigenous Plants
There are over 30 native plants in the gardens that are still used today for medicinal purposes. Take a guided tour with the local medicine man and try some of the Noni juice

Handicraft
Participate in some of the local handicraft - making a basket or weave a mat. Try making a hat from palm leaves - looks easy - give it a go!
